The Formula 1 Grand Prix has finally happened in Singapore. It is also the first city to host a night race. Of course, the results were surprising with Alonso losing out the top 10 positions and come back to win the race on Sunday. I have managed to catch the qualifying race from the Grand Stand and spent a whole afternoon at the marina bay area to look at the F1 village and watched two of the races to experience the F1 fever hitting Singapore. Of course, there is the race track, the loud sound generated from the engines in the racing cars, the pretty girls and the cool F1 drivers (Massa and Hamilton). So, here are some of the photos I took on the event during a Saturday evening when I went to watch the qualifying races from the Grand Stand. It's quite a thrilling race to watch and it has been an exciting weekend that light up the whole of Singapore this weekend.
